New OEADS Feature — Cross-City Ad Suggestions

Why This Matters

If you live in a smaller city, you have probably experienced this: you search for something specific on OEADS, and there are only two or three results in your area. Previously, you would have to manually change your city to search elsewhere. We built a better solution.

How It Works

When you search for something and there are few or no results in your city, OEADS now automatically shows you relevant ads from nearby or other major cities. You will see a clear label telling you these are from other cities, so there is no confusion about location.

The Gap Label

When the results switch from your city to another city, you will see a separator label like "Showing results from Lahore (your city had no matches)". This keeps things transparent — you always know where the results are coming from.

Why Not Just Search Everywhere?

Because location matters for most purchases. If you are looking for furniture, you probably want something within your city. But if you are searching for a rare collectible or a specific electronic item, expanding the search radius makes sense. This feature gives you both options.
