Terms of Service

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and OEADS ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the OEADS website, mobile services and related tools (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, posting a listing, contacting a seller or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines published on the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and post listings. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

We may refuse registration, suspend or terminate accounts, or restrict access to any part of the Platform at our discretion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

To access certain features such as posting ads, saving favourites or messaging sellers, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Account security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised account access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

One person, one account: You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

Impersonation: You may not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

OEADS is a classifieds venue. We do not own, inspect, warrant or take possession of any item listed on the Platform. Contracts for sale are formed directly between buyers and sellers, and we are not a party to them.

Your responsibilities as a seller: Listings must be accurate, truthful and complete. You must legally own the item or be authorised to sell it, describe its condition honestly (including defects), set prices in PKR unless stated otherwise, and remove listings once items are sold.

Your content licence: You retain ownership of content you submit (text, photos, etc.) but grant OEADS a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it solely for operating and promoting the Platform.

Moderation: We may review, edit, reject, hide or remove any listing that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice. Paid promotional features do not exempt listings from moderation.

No scraping: You may not copy, harvest or systematically extract data from the Platform using automated means without our prior written permission.

Posting standard listings is free. Optional paid services — such as featured/bumped listings, package upgrades and banner advertising — are offered at the prices displayed at the time of purchase.

All fees are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways, and their terms also apply to your transaction.

Paid promotions are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or where we determine, at our sole discretion, that a refund is appropriate (for example, if a listing was removed through no fault of yours).

We never take custody of buyer payments for goods. Any arrangement to pay a seller directly is entirely at your own risk. Beware of anyone asking for advance payment through untraceable methods.

You may NOT list, offer, sell or solicit the following on OEADS:

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and regulated military equipment
• Narcotics, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and tobacco products for resale without licence
• Counterfeit, replica or pirated goods, including fake branded products and unlicensed software/media
• Stolen goods or items obtained through fraud
• Wildlife, endangered species and products derived from them, in violation of applicable law
• Human organs, bodily remains and live animals where sale is prohibited
• Adult content, sexual services and sexually explicit material
• Government identity documents, licences, passports, IDs, diplomas and credentials
• Financial instruments, currency, cryptocurrency mining schemes and get-rich-quick/pyramid schemes
• Hazardous materials, recalled items and unsafe children's products
• Personal data, mailing lists and any information whose sale violates privacy laws
• Any item, service or content prohibited under the laws of Pakistan

Additionally, you must not: harass or threaten other users; send spam or unsolicited commercial messages; attempt to defraud buyers or sellers; upload viruses or malicious code; interfere with the Platform's operation; or circumvent moderation actions by re-posting removed content.

Violations may result in immediate listing removal, account suspension or termination, reporting to law-enforcement authorities, and civil or criminal liability.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OEADS, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

We are not responsible for disputes between users, the quality, safety or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the conduct of users online or offline. You transact with other users entirely at your own risk and should follow our safety guidelines.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or PKR 10,000, whichever is lower.

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination, including sections relating to content licences, limitation of liability and dispute resolution.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform, with or without notice and with or without refund, if you breach these Terms, if required by law enforcement or regulators, or if we discontinue the service or a feature of it.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and we may remove your listings and content from the Platform. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements or business practices. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Material changes will be communicated via notice on the Platform or by email to registered users where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
